Design thinking is a problem-solving approach based on the creative processes of designers in various disciplines. Over the last decade or so, design thinking has been adopted by a range of professions beyond traditional design, and used as a powerful tool that can reveal new ways of defining a problem, ideating and evaluating solutions and creating and testing prototypes.
Join Library Special Collections curatorial staff as they guide community members through materials that demonstrate the various stages of the design process in traditional design fields and beyond. View archival materials and learn how to incorporate primary sources to advance teaching, learning and research.
