Introduction to basic Python syntax, data structures and data science tools. After this workshop learners will be able to:
- Understand the basics of Python 3
- Describe the different data types in Python
- Execute Python code and documentation in the browser based coding tool Jupyter
- Identify appropriate uses for Python in your research or work
- Use Python to manipulate files and visualize data
