The UCLA Film & Television Archive is the largest university-based moving image collection in the world; and the second largest moving image archive in the United States behind the Library of Congress. The potential for students to conduct original research using the collection is both exciting and overwhelming! This workshop will introduce attendees to the Archive’s catalog by focusing on key examples; will teach research skills in how to navigate through a large and diverse media collection; and will show students how the Archive’s holdings might be used in connection with other collections on campus. Open to all students and majors with an interest in film/television history.

This will be located in Powell CLICC Classroom A.

Registration has closed.
