This workshop is an introduction to GIS as part of the 3D Modeling for Research series. It will serve as an overview of spatial data types and formats, as well as an introduction to QGIS.

Prior to the workshop, take a moment to install the latest version of QGIS from the QGIS Download page. Click on the appropriate Operating System to download and install the latest LTR (Long Term Release) stable version onto your machine.
