The William Andrews Clark Memorial Library’s reading room is currently open only to UCLA students, staff, and faculty with valid Bruincards. Due to both limited hours and seating arrangements UCLA Single Sign-On (Shibboleth) credentials are required to make a reservation.
Reading room availability will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 4pm. Appointments can be made up to one month in advance and we request a two-week lead time in order to page materials. Patrons may page up to ten items per visit. Same day requests of materials will not be permitted. Once a reservation is made, a confirmation email will be sent with further information and instructions.
Patrons must agree to follow UCLA’s as well as the Clark’s own COVID-19 guidelines and supply proof of completing UCLA’s Symptom Monitoring Survey dated for the day of arrival. Face masks must be worn on the property at all times regardless of vaccine status. Non-compliance with both UCLA’s and the Clark Library’s policies will result in the immediate cancellation of the appointment and will affect the ability to make future reservations.
